Free Alternatives to WordPress in 2025: Google Sites, Framer, Webflow, Carrd.co, Odoo, and More

Darmowe Alternatywy dla wordpressa 2025. Google sites, Framer, Webflow, Carrd.co, odoo i inne

Want to create a website but, for some reason, don’t want to use WordPress? Check out the solutions below:

  • Google Sites – create websites directly from Google Drive, for free, without needing to create an account.

  • Carrd.co – Create a business-card website completely free of charge, without the provider’s advertising banner and with a nice carrd.io domain

  • Odoo – An even better tool than Framer. Completely free, you can have a website with a blog and subpages on an .odoo.com domain. Additionally, Odoo has a convenient editor and a well-functioning website builder (you still have to manually change 80% of things, but it is easier than starting with a blank page).

  • Framer – a powerful yet intuitive editor that allows you to create attractive websites with a blog or an online store. The basic price is PLN 19.

WordPress is currently the most popular tool for creating websites. It is relatively easy to use and offers enormous possibilities. More than 40% of websites run on WordPress—including blogs, websites of local shops or bookstores, as well as sites of large companies such as Disney and Mercedes-Benz, and institutions such as the White House in the USA. WordPress is not a ready-made template, as some people believe—it is a tool that provides virtually unlimited possibilities for customization and personalization. A website does not have to be coded from scratch to be of the highest quality.

WordPress does have its drawbacks. Currently, it cannot be tested completely free of charge easily—we immediately need a purchased domain and hosting. There are ways to test it for free, but they require some knowledge. We can install WordPress locally; there are also free servers, and some themes also allow you to test WordPress for free.

Let’s assume that we can allocate PLN 30–50 per month for a domain and hosting. Setting up a simple blog is fairly easy, but it is still more complicated than with some alternative solutions—it is not a matter of just a few clicks.

The problem arises when we want to create something more advanced. This is not about designing digital works of art, but about creating simple yet solid websites. To achieve a good result, you need to test and become familiar with at least several themes, editors, and plugins. Personally, I recommend the Kadence theme (or Astra), although the situation may change in a few years, and this theme may not suit everyone.

In many cases, simpler solutions can be better—especially when you are just starting out with website creation or when you need a basic website for personal use. Not every website needs to be a highly optimized sales page to serve its purpose.

General Information About WordPress Alternatives

Simpler Alternatives to WordPress

There are many platforms offering simpler solutions than WordPress. They enable you to quickly create a website with a satisfactory appearance and functionality, but expanding it further can be problematic. However, it is worth considering whether such a basic version of the website might be sufficient for you.

Costs should also be taken into account—as website traffic grows, they may increase significantly. If your business expands and you are able to allocate PLN 2,000–4,000 to website development, migrating to WordPress will often prove to be the best solution.

Free Versions and Their Limitations

Many platforms offer free versions of website builders, but this often means displaying a banner or bar indicating that the website was created using a free tool. For business websites, this may look unprofessional, but if, for example, you sell handmade products within an online community, it does not necessarily have to be a major obstacle.

Some platforms place such a banner in the website footer, which is less intrusive and may not pose a significant problem.

Advantages of Simpler Alternatives to WordPress

✅ Easier to use – most alternatives are more intuitive and beginner-friendly.

✅ Quick problem resolution – if something goes wrong, repairs usually take anywhere from a few minutes to a maximum of two hours. Everything is contained in one system, making the website easier to manage.

WordPress can be more demanding – if problems arise, you can become easily frustrated. Many people become discouraged while testing plugins, watching tutorials, or troubleshooting errors, which can consume many hours of work.

Limitations of WordPress alternatives and how to work around them.

Some limitations in simpler website editors can be worked around—sometimes it’s worth experimenting, especially since experimenting here is safer than on WordPress. However, devising workarounds and looking for ways around limitations undermines the point of using simple tools—if you have to spend time on unconventional solutions anyway, perhaps it would be better to turn to a more advanced platform right away?

WordPress Alternatives – List

Google Sites – the best option to get started

If you are just starting your journey with website creation, Google Sites is a great option to begin with. The tool is available directly from your Google Drive, so you don’t need to create a new account—all you need is a Google account (Gmail). Creating a website is very simple and intuitive.

So, if you want to start learning how to create websites, Google Sites is a very good choice.

Advantages of Google Sites

✅ Easy to use – quickly create an attractive website without any coding knowledge.

✅ Automatic online availability – Your site is instantly available at: 👉 https://sites.google.com/view/name-of-your-site

It may not be the best address, but it is completely free.

✅ Ability to connect your own domain – if you want a more professional address, you can purchase a domain from external providers and connect it to your website.

Google Sites is a good solution if you need a simple information website, portfolio, or website for a small project. However, for more complex websites, it is worth considering other options.

✅ We can easily add subpages, and subpages of subpages.

Disadvantages of Google Sites

The biggest limitation of Google Sites is the lack of a classic CMS, which means you cannot conveniently run a blog. Although this can be worked around by adding subpages or embedding Google documents, you still will not have access to advanced analytics, which is crucial when running a blog.

Using Google Sites

🔹 First website – the ideal solution if you want to create your first website at no cost. Your site will be publicly accessible, and the creation process is simpler and more practical than designing websites in graphic design programs such as Canva.

🔹 Creating presentations – nowadays, presentations do not have to be limited to meetings with a projector. Often, it is enough to share the content on a laptop or send it online. In such a case, a site created in Google Sites can be a great alternative to traditional presentations.

Even if you use WordPress or plan to learn it, it’s worth getting to know Google Sites – it’s a useful tool that can make many tasks easier.

Gamma App – AI-powered website generator

Gamma is an intelligent website generator that enables quick website creation based on text. Its greatest advantage is that it works much better than the built-in builders in WordPress themes. What’s more, the created website can be easily edited, providing great flexibility.

Disadvantages and limitations Gamma app

🔹 Free domain – your website address will contain a random string of characters, e.g.: 👉 nazwa-strony-f2hxhs4.gamma.site

🔹 Floating link to Gamma App – always visible in the bottom-right corner, but it is not very intrusive.

🔹 No traditional subpage system – instead, you can create a menu with links that scroll users to specific sections of the page.

Main Use of Gamma App

✅ Quick creation of presentation-style websites – an ideal solution when you need an aesthetic, dynamic website to showcase a project, service, or product.

Gamma App is a great tool for people who want to quickly create an impressive website without the need for coding or configuring complicated systems.

Squarespace is an intuitive website builder that offers a 14-day trial period. After it ends, the cheapest plan costs:

💰 PLN 69/month – when paying for the entire year upfront
💰 PLN 99/month – with monthly payment

If you do not choose the annual plan, you will have to pay extra for the domain.

SquareSpace costs compared to WordPress

For comparison, the cost of hosting and a domain for WordPress is PLN 30–50/month, and discounts are often available in the first year. However, it is important to remember that prices usually increase after the first year.

Limitations of the free version

❌ Unlike Google Sites, Squarespace’s free version does not allow you to publish a fully functional website.

❌ Domains in the test version are completely random (it is not possible to add your own name).

❌ You can only share the password-protected version—interestingly, the password can be very simple and does not need to contain digits. So, if for some reason you want to quickly create a page protected by a simple password, this is a good solution.

Advantages of Squarespace

✅ Convenient website builder – provides intuitive operation.

✅ Ability to run a blog and a simple online store – supports payments, although it requires more expensive plans (the most expensive costs PLN 204/month).

✅ Integrated online sales system – but keep in mind that Squarespace charges a commission on every transaction.

Is Squarespace Worth Using?

Squarespace is an expensive solution—especially in the long run. It does not offer a free, albeit limited, version like Google Sites does.

📌 Within 2–3 years, using WordPress will be significantly cheaper, even if you initially pay PLN 2,000–3,000 to have the website created.

📌 Squarespace is easier to use, but it still requires investing time in creating the website yourself.

If you care about quick and easy website creation and don’t mind higher costs, Squarespace may be a good choice. However, if you’re thinking long term, WordPress will provide you with greater flexibility and savings.

Wix – an affordable and flexible alternative to WordPress

Wix is a popular website builder that combines ease of use with extensive customization options. It is cheaper than Squarespace while being more flexible than Google Sites. Thanks to ready-made templates and an intuitive editor, it enables you to quickly create an attractive website without the need for coding.

Usage costs:

  • ✅ PLN 44/month – basic plan

  • ✅ PLN 88, PLN 136, PLN 680/month – versions with online sales support (the PLN 136 plan is sufficient for most stores)

During registration, the system suggests connecting your own domain or purchasing one, but this can be bypassed. Simply select the option to create a blog, then go to the page editing panel, which allows you to publish it without having to purchase additional services.

Advantages of Wix:

  • ✅ Ability to publish a website without your own domain

  • ✅ Greater customization flexibility than in Google Sites

  • ✅ A good solution for portfolios and photo galleries

Although the Wix Editor offers extensive capabilities, using it requires somewhat more learning than Google Sites or Squarespace. On the other hand, it provides greater control over the website’s appearance and layout, making it a better choice for those seeking more flexibility. Therefore, it is easier to create an artistic portfolio website on Wix than on WordPress.

Free version limitations:

  • ❌ The site address contains the user’s email address (this can be circumvented by creating a new Wix account with a new email address)

  • ❌ A Wix banner is visible on the page

  • ❌ No advanced SEO and sales features in the free plan

Wix is best suited for people who want to quickly create a modern website without the complicated configuration of WordPress. It is a good solution for portfolios, small businesses, and beginner online sellers who want to easily manage their online store.

Webflow

A powerful yet intuitive tool for creating websites. One of its greatest advantages is its comprehensive tutorial and numerous ready-made website projects that can be cloned—many of them created by the community. Even if you use WordPress, it is worth taking some time to learn Webflow, as it can significantly help you develop your web design skills.

The free version allows you to use a domain in the format our_name.webflow.io, which looks aesthetically pleasing (e.g., https://aynrandstuff.webflow.io/). Similar to Gamma App, a floating Webflow banner appears in the bottom-right corner.

Webflow’s capabilities are demonstrated by the popular challenge of recreating Apple’s websites and those of other well-known brands: https://webflow.com/made-in-webflow/apple

How Much Does Webflow Cost?

Webflow is quite an expensive solution – the cheapest paid plan costs $14 per month (approximately PLN 50–60). However, considering the editor’s extensive capabilities, this price is quite reasonable.

Framer – a cheaper alternative to Webflow

Framer is a solution similar to Webflow, but available at a lower price. The cheapest version costs PLN 19 per month, although it is quite limited—it allows you to create only two subpages. The fully functional version costs PLN 58 per month, which is still an attractive option compared to Webflow.

Framer allows you to create a blog and an online store, making it a versatile tool for various types of websites.

Framer Free Version – Limitations

  • ✅ Small banner in the bottom-right corner of the page

  • ✅ Ability to use your own domain with the framer.website extension

🎥 Example Framer presentation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qSDQ3U6Qyaw

A key advantage of Framer – built-in analytics

Framer offers a built-in analytics system that requires no additional configuration. Since the statistics are an integral part of the website, they are not blocked by ad blockers. The data collected by Framer is anonymous, so users do not have to accept cookies, making it easier to track website traffic.

Shopify – kompleksowe rozwiązanie do e-commerce

Shopify is a system designed for creating and managing an online store. Unlike other platforms where a store is an optional add-on, here the entire process starts with adding products and configuring sales.

Additionally, Shopify offers:

  • ✅ POS System (Point of Sale – on-site sales)

  • ✅ Warehouse management

  • ✅ Employee account management

Although similar features can be implemented in other systems, Shopify stands out with ready-made tools that streamline store management. The platform is relatively easy to use, making it a popular choice for people starting to sell online.

Disadvantages of Shopify

  • ❌ No free version – even if you do not plan to sell, you must purchase a plan

  • ❌ Cost – prices start at PLN 100–150 per month, depending on the payment method (monthly or annually)

  • ❌ Transaction fees – Shopify charges a commission on sales

For the first three months, the platform can be used for 1 euro per month, allowing you to test its features without significant expense. Shopify is a good solution for those who want to focus on sales rather than system configuration, but its costs may be higher than those of other platforms.

Carrd.co – the best budget option for simple websites

Carrd.co is one of the best solutions for creating and hosting simple one-page business card websites. It stands out for its low cost, ease of use, and attractive design.

Fully usable in the free version

In the free version, the domain consists of our name and the carrd.co suffix, which is short and looks like a standard web address. A small “Made with Carrd” label appears at the bottom of the page, but it is a subtle addition that does not draw attention.

How much does Carrd.co cost?

  • ✅ 19 dollars per year (~$1.6/month, i.e. approx. PLN 6–7/month)

  • ✅ Option to add a custom domain (additional cost)

  • ✅ No “Made with Carrd” branding in the paid version

  • ✅ Support for payments, forms, and custom fields

  • ✅ Integration with Google Analytics

Disadvantages of Carrd.co

  • ❌ No CMS and no possibility of adding a blog – even in the paid version

  • ❌ One-page websites – no traditional subpages

Similarly to Google Sites, the lack of a CMS can be worked around, but this limits the website’s functionality, for example in terms of SEO and search engine rankings.

How to Work Around One-Page Limitations?

Although Carrd.co supports only single-page websites, this can be solved by:

  • ✅ Sections – clicking a menu item scrolls the page to the appropriate location

  • ✅ Content hiding – some sections may be invisible during normal scrolling, making the page function like multiple subpages

Circumventing these restrictions is not difficult; it is something that software developers anticipated.

Carrd.co is a great option for people who need a fast, aesthetically pleasing, and affordable website, but do not require an extensive blog or content management system.

Odoo – a comprehensive, free alternative to WordPress

Odoo is a system consisting of several tools that support business management, such as CRM, invoicing, and e-commerce. To get started, you can choose one application for free—one of the available options is a website. Full access to all applications costs €12 per user per month.

Advantages:

  • The homepage is created using a wizard, so we do not start with an empty website. Editing a ready-made template is much easier than building a website from scratch.

  • The domain has the format www.YourCompanyName.odoo.com, which looks quite good. Maybe card.co sounds a little better, but odoo.com also looks professional and has its advantages.

  • Information that the website runs on Odoo is discreetly placed in the form of a small bar at the bottom of the page.

  • The website can consist of multiple subpages, and the built-in blog is available to the user.

  • The intuitive editor makes it easy to modify the content and appearance of the page.

Why Is It Worth Having a Blog on Your Website?

Personally, I believe that the ability to add articles to your own website is crucial. By creating articles, we organize our own knowledge, learn new and useful things, and promote the website at the same time. Additionally, we facilitate communication with clients—they can independently learn the most important information related to the industry in which we operate, making conversations with clients more constructive while helping us build a reputation as an expert or someone knowledgeable about the subject.

Besides, adding a blog post is simpler than creating a new subpage or section, and when we add a lot of text, it looks better.

Commissioning text writing is also a good solution when, due to the nature of their work, employees have longer breaks; in this way, they learn new things and can promote the company.

Nowadays, when artificial intelligence can help proofread or write the necessary passages we struggle with, there are fewer and fewer reasons not to write such a blog.

However, I realize that not everyone needs to run a blog. And some prefer to focus solely on social media.

Blogger – Google’s free blogging platform

Blogger is a platform designed for running blogs, where you can easily publish articles and add photos. As the name suggests, the system’s primary purpose is creating content-based websites, while designing aesthetically pleasing subpages is more limited.

Subpages are created in the classic editor, resembling a text editor, which is similar to the solution used in early versions of WordPress. Although this does not offer much flexibility in terms of visual layout, they can be adapted to basic needs.

Free version of Blogger

  • ✅ You receive a free domain in the format ourname.blogspot.com

  • ✅ Ability to connect your own domain

  • ✅ No hosting fees

  • ❌ At the bottom of the page, there is a bar indicating that the site runs on Blogger

Blogger is a good solution for people who want to run a blog at no cost but do not need advanced editing features.

Medium and Other Blogging Platforms – An Alternative to Traditional CMSs

Besides Blogger, there are many other blogging platforms that allow you to publish content without having to set up your own website. Many of them offer the option to connect your own domain, which makes them look more professional.

1. Medium – a platform for professional bloggers

Medium is one of the most popular blogging platforms, valued for its clean design, ease of use, and strong ecosystem for readers. It is an ideal solution for people who want to focus on writing without having to deal with the technical aspects of a website.

Advantages of Medium:

  • ✅ Free content publishing

  • ✅ A large community and a ready-made readership base

  • ✅ No need to deal with hosting or updates

  • ✅ Easy integration with your own domain (in the paid version)

Disadvantages of Medium:

  • ❌ Limited customization – blogs have a uniform appearance

  • ❌ No full control over the site – Medium may change the platform’s operating rules

  • ❌ It is not a classic website – it more closely resembles a social media platform

2. Substack – for newsletter authors and bloggers

Substack is a platform that combines blogging with newsletters, allowing readers not only to visit the site but also to subscribe to new content via email. It is popular among independent creators.

Advantages of Substack:

  • ✅ Ability to earn money from paid subscriptions

  • ✅ Easy to use, with no technical configuration required

  • ✅ Integration with your own domain

Disadvantages of Substack:

  • ❌ No advanced page editing features

  • ❌ More of a newsletter platform than a traditional blog

3. Ghost – an alternative to WordPress

Ghost is a blogging platform that combines the simplicity of Medium with the capabilities of WordPress. It can be installed on your own server or used as a hosted version.

Advantages of Ghost:

  • ✅ Fast performance and a modern editor

  • ✅ Ability to earn from subscriptions

  • ✅ Custom domain support

Ghost Defects:

  • ❌ Paid hosted versions are expensive

  • ❌ Less popular than WordPress, so it has fewer plugins and themes

4. Write.as – minimalism and privacy

Write.as is a minimalist platform for publishing content, valued by people who appreciate simplicity and anonymity.

Advantages of Write.as:

  • ✅ No ads and a simple interface

  • ✅ Anonymous publishing option

  • ✅ Custom domain support in the paid version

Disadvantages of Write.as:

  • ❌ No advanced formatting features

  • ❌ Smaller community and limited opportunities for interaction

Which platform should you choose?

🔹 If you want to write for a large community and don’t need personalization → Medium 🔹 If you plan to publish a newsletter and want to earn from subscriptions → Substack 🔹 If you want full control and greater flexibility → Ghost 🔹 If you’re looking for a minimalist, private platform → Write.as

Each of these platforms offers something different, so it is worth choosing a solution tailored to your needs and publishing style.

Joomla is a content management system (CMS) that offers more flexibility than WordPress but requires greater technical knowledge. It allows you to create both simple websites and extensive online services; however, its operation is more complicated and requires learning.

Joomla is essentially WordPress, only built differently, which is why I placed it at the end of this list.

Advantages of Joomla:

  • ✅ Greater flexibility than WordPress

  • ✅ Ability to create multilingual pages without additional plugins

  • ✅ Better user and access management

Disadvantages of Joomla:

  • ❌ Smaller community and fewer available plugins than WordPress

  • ❌ Steeper learning curve

  • ❌ Many hosting services are not optimized for Joomla

Joomla is a good solution for people who need greater control over the site structure but are not afraid of more advanced configuration.

What if we want to be on the Internet but don’t want to have our own domain right away?

When operating on a limited budget, instead of hastily creating a website that we will have to rebuild from scratch once our business expands, it is often a good idea to consider alternative solutions. Unlike a simple website, they can support our main website once it is created.

Google Business Profile – a free way to increase your online visibility

Google Business Profile (Google Business Profile) is a simple and free tool that allows businesses, freelancers, and organizations to increase their visibility in Google Search and Google Maps. Thanks to it, customers can easily find essential information such as the address, opening hours, phone number, or reviews from other users. It is an excellent solution both for small businesses and for people who operate without a permanent location, such as photographers or personal trainers.

You do not need to run a registered business to create a business listing. It is used by, among others:

  • Freelancers (photographers, programmers, tutors)

  • Specialists offering mobile services (plumbers, mechanics, personal trainers)

  • Social organizations and foundations

  • Online creators and consultants

However, personal contact with the customer is essential. If you operate exclusively online, a Google Business Profile is not possible.

If you don’t have a physical location, you can hide your address and provide only your service area, which means your listing remains an effective promotional tool.

Benefits of Having a Google Business Profile

A Google Business Profile is not only a way to advertise for free, but also a convenient tool for communicating with customers. You can add photos, respond to reviews, and publish updates and special offers. What’s more, Google displays businesses with Business Profiles higher in search results, increasing the chances of attracting new customers.

Key benefits:

  • Free promotion on Google and Google Maps

  • Quick contact – the phone number, email address, and website are visible

  • The ability to collect customer reviews that build trust

  • Option to add posts and photos, helping the company stand out from the competition

How to create a Google Business Profile?

Creating a business profile is quick and intuitive. Simply go to Google Business Profile, enter your business name and basic contact details. Google will ask you to verify your account—usually using a code sent by mail or provided over the phone. Once approved, your profile will become visible in Search and Google Maps, making it easier for customers to find your services.

This is a simple and effective solution that can significantly increase your online visibility without the need to create a website.

Pinterest as a Business Page – Better Visibility on Google

Pinterest is not only a social media platform but also a powerful SEO tool that stands out from other media. Unlike Facebook or Instagram, pins are well indexed by Google and often appear in Google Images results, increasing the chances of reaching new customers. In the case of Pinterest, the frequency of publishing posts is less important, while what we publish matters much more. If you visit a Facebook page and see that the last post was published 3 years ago, your first subconscious thought is that the company has ceased to operate or stopped growing. In the case of Pinterest, this effect does not occur.

Why is it worth using Pinterest in business?

  • ✅ Good visibility on Google – pins are indexed and often appear in search results

  • ✅ Long-term effect – content can generate traffic for months or even years

  • ✅ Free promotion – a business account enables tracking statistics and optimizing content

  • ✅ Sales and website traffic – the ability to link to products and offers

Pinterest is an excellent tool for businesses that want to increase their visibility on Google and reach customers looking for inspiration and specific products.

Reddit – a community that can support SEO

Reddit is one of the largest social media platforms, bringing users together around topic-based communities (subreddits). Appropriate engagement on Reddit can indirectly improve your website’s SEO by generating traffic and acquiring valuable links.

How Does Reddit Support SEO?

  • ✅ Traffic to the website – well-prepared posts with links can attract valuable traffic

  • ✅ Indexing in Google – Reddit is regularly crawled by Google bots, which helps with content indexing

  • ✅ Natural links – if the content is valuable, users share it themselves

  • ✅ Authority-building discussions – active participation in industry subreddits increases brand credibility

Reddit is not a typical advertising platform—users value authenticity and substantive content. Therefore, instead of aggressive promotion, it is worth providing valuable information and subtly promoting your website through useful links.

Social Media in Business – Which Ones Are Worth Choosing?

A presence on social media is now a key element of promoting a company. Each platform has its own specific advantages and target audience, so it is worth tailoring your choice to your industry and marketing strategy.

The Most Popular Social Media Platforms for Businesses:

  • ✅ Facebook – good for building a community and communicating with customers

  • ✅ Instagram – ideal for visual industries (fashion, design, beauty)

  • ✅ LinkedIn – effective for building B2B relationships and an expert image

  • ✅ TikTok – great for creative promotion and reaching a younger audience group

  • ✅ Twitter – good for quick communication and building authority

Each platform has different capabilities, so it is worth choosing those that best suit your business and audience.

Where is it worth setting up a company profile in Poland?

Presence in local directories and industry portals increases a company’s visibility online, makes it easier for customers to get in touch, and improves its position in Google search results. Here are the most important services where it is worth creating a business profile in Poland:

Universal business directories:

  • ✅ Google Business Profile – a basic tool that displays your business on Google and Google Maps

  • ✅ Panorama Firm (panoramafirm.pl) – one of the largest business directories in Poland

  • ✅ pkt.pl – a business directory with the option to add detailed information and reviews

  • ✅ BiznesFinder (biznesfinder.pl) – a business directory with rating and contact options

  • ✅ Firmy.net – a directory helping with online promotion

  • ✅ Yelp – popular in Poland among businesses in the food service, hospitality, and services sectors

Social Media Portals for Businesses:

  • ✅ Facebook for Business – ideal for local businesses, restaurants, and service salons

  • ✅ LinkedIn Company Pages – the best choice for B2B companies and professional services

Industry-specific thematic portals:

  • 🏨 Hotel and catering industry: TripAdvisor, Booksy, Pyszne.pl

  • ⚙️ Construction and renovation industry: Oferteo, Fixly, KB.pl

  • 🏥 Medical industry: ZnanyLekarz, Kliniki.pl

  • 🎨 Creative and IT industry: Clutch, GoodFirms, Behance, Dribbble

  • ⚖️ Legal and accounting services: Specprawnik, LexHub, DobryKsiegowy

Creating a profile in the appropriate directories and industry portals increases your company’s reach, improves SEO, and makes it easier to acquire new customers. It is worth choosing platforms suited to the nature of your business in order to effectively reach your target audience.

Summary

Choosing a platform to create a company website depends on business goals, budget, and level of technical expertise. Some tools are simple and free, while others offer advanced features but require greater financial or technical investment.

Key options:

  • ✅ Google Business Profile, Yelp, Panorama Firm – ideal for business listings, improving local visibility

  • ✅ Odoo, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, Framer – website builders for those who want easy-to-use tools and ready-made templates

  • ✅ WordPress, Joomla, Odoo – for companies requiring greater flexibility and advanced features

  • ✅ Medium, Blogger, Ghost, Substack – great for blogs and content publishing

  • ✅ Reddit, Pinterest, LinkedIn – platforms supporting SEO and traffic to the homepage

There is no single ideal solution—the key is choosing a tool suited to the specifics of your business. For local businesses, a Google Business Profile is sufficient; for e-commerce, Shopify or WordPress with WooCommerce will be the best choice; and for freelancers, Wix or Webflow will work well.

It is worth remembering that online visibility is not just about a company website – it is worth using directories, social media, and blogging platforms to build greater reach and authority online.
