Why is it worth using Claude AI?

Dlaczego warto korzystać z Claude AI?

Is ChatGPT experiencing an outage and not working? Try Claude AI. It is among the top AI models, along with Grok, Gemini, and ChatGPT. Claude AI stands out from other models due to its very good configuration; for this reason, it is often used for programming, although writing texts is also convenient with this tool.

Using different language models allows you to better understand how they work. Besides, this means that we are not dependent on a single provider, e.g. in the event of an outage. And if you use AI completely free of charge, another model means another way to access AI that you can have at the same email address.

Just a few years ago, discussions about artificial intelligence focused mainly on what it could do and what it should not do. Today, the conversation revolves more around how to choose the right tool to genuinely improve work efficiency, creativity, or the quality of customer service. In this context, a new player has emerged on the market and immediately attracted attention—Claude AI, created by Anthropic. It is a highly capable language model, but one guided by a distinctive philosophy of operation that sets it apart from the competition.

Claude AI in brief:

The main advantage of this model is its appropriate configuration, which means that the model rarely hallucinates and is relatively safe. Therefore, it is useful when we want to create a tool based on a language model and make it available externally, or use it to support customer interactions.

Claude handles programming very well, and in addition to its good configuration, its huge context window is a significant advantage here. Furthermore, Claude has a convenient feature for running programs directly within the application, and most importantly, we can share such simple programs with other users.

A drawback of Claude is its relatively limited number of features. For example, we cannot generate images with it (which is currently standard for many language models). For a long time, it also did not have access to the Internet (but Claude can now search the web).

Who Creates Claude AI (Anthropic, the Company Founded by Former OpenAI Employees).

Claude AI is an advanced artificial intelligence model created by Anthropic, a company focused on developing AI in an ethical and safe manner. Anthropic was founded in 2021 by former OpenAI employees who wanted to create an alternative to the dominant players in the market. Their mission? To build AI that is helpful, honest, and harmless – their “constitutional AI,” meaning a system with built-in ethical principles.

Currently, in 2025, Claude has evolved to version 4, with models such as Claude Opus 4.1 and Sonnet 4. These models are frontier models, meaning they are at the forefront of AI capabilities. For example, Claude 4 introduced improvements in reasoning, handling large contexts (even millions of tokens, enabling the analysis of vast amounts of data), and agentic tasks—that is, the ability to act independently, such as building applications or automating processes.

Why is this important? Because, unlike some AI systems that may “hallucinate” (make up facts), Claude is trained for accuracy. Users praise it for its consistency—for example, in coding, where errors can cost hours of work. But more on that later.

Anthropic regularly updates Claude. In May 2025, they introduced a new API for developers, enabling them to build AI agents capable of performing complex tasks, such as DevSecOps automation and secure code reviews. This means Claude is not just a chat tool—it’s an ecosystem for work.

Safety

Engineers at Anthropic have devoted considerable attention to safety. This means that it is difficult to jailbreak this model (in other words, it is difficult to make it provide, for example, instructions for building a bomb). At the same time, Claude does not censor questions that do not involve illegal or dangerous content.

Why is model security important?

When you use a given model directly in an application, blocking inappropriate content seems to be of little importance, or rather, is generally a disadvantage. After all, AI that, even accidentally, writes us, for example, a recipe for a bomb is not a major problem, because we can simply ignore it. Therefore, if low censorship is important to us, the simplest solution is Grok, while a somewhat more difficult approach is running simple models on our own devices.

Things look different when we build a program that uses AI, for example, when we create a chatbot that talks to customers. In such a case, we are responsible for what a given language model writes to users of our tool, so it is important that it does not hallucinate or write potentially dangerous things.

Claude AI in Programming

Claude is very good at writing code. In many benchmarks, it ranks among the top performers and is often at the very top. The table below is from last year; much has changed since then, but it helps illustrate the trend.

Claude uses, for example, a tool for creating application prototypes in Figma. The recently released Claude Sonnet 4 and Claude Opus 4.1 models have many advantages (a huge context window and high-quality analysis), while many people still hold the Claude Sonnet 3.7 model in high regard.

In Claude, you can run a program directly in the application.

Below, I have created a simple demo of a program designed to assist with translation. It enables quick translations that do not require a language model, but if we want to translate something more complex, we can use AI for that.

Artifacts in Claude AI

A major advantage of Claude AI is access to artifacts (i.e., simple programs) created by other users.

.

In Claude, an artifact is anything that is not created directly in the text chat, namely what is created in “Canvases,” such as programs and text. The ability to preview in one place all the artifacts we have created in different threads is a very useful feature, and it would be great if ChatGPT also introduced a similar feature.

.

In ChatGPT, you can create appropriately configured models that can use text-writing and image-generation functions. They can also be connected to entirely external applications.

In Claude, users can share simple programs that run directly in Claude, which is very convenient.

.

A simple application showing how many weeks we have lived and how much life we have left.

."""

Artifacts in Claude can use external programs via APIs:

.

Additionally, we can view the creation history of a given artifact, and we can also modify it.

Other Features of the Claude Program

.

We can connect Claude with other applications, but we need the paid version for that.

."""

Additionally, if we download the application, Claude may have access to files on the computer and may also control other applications. Although for now this is an experimental feature.

.

Style selection is another small but convenient feature. ChatGPT also has this feature, but it is less convenient to use there; the style selector located directly in the message “window” is much more convenient.

.

Claude Code

We can connect Claude to any development environment, making it more convenient to use AI because we no longer have to manually copy everything Claude writes.

Summary

It is worth taking an interest in the Claude model, because the approach of the company creating it differs significantly from that of other giants. It introduces interesting solutions (for example, an agent that controls a computer was available there much earlier than an agent controlling a virtual machine in ChatGPT).

And it is always an additional safeguard in case ChatGPT does not work.
